This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Last year I wrote something related to an assignment I did. Now, I shall post it. YAY!
On the subject of heroes...
My current assignment is about a hero. It could be a well known public figure, like Abe, or Nixon (As if.) Or it could be a lesser known person.
But one thing that is a very strong question, is WHAT is a hero? We can take the dictionary.com entry.
noun, plural -roes; for 5 also -ros. 1. a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. 2. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal: He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child. 3. the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc. 4. Classical Mythology. a. a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity. b. (in the Homeric period) a warrior-chieftain of special strength, courage, or ability. c. (in later antiquity) an immortal being; demigod..
But that doesn't REALLY explain it. I don't think any one person or group can call someone a universal hero. I think that is something that must be determined by individuals. A government can call some general a hero, and they very well may be! But they can't decide that themselves. Perhaps this general did something to advance the governments agenda, to the determent of others and was given a ticker-tape parade. Is that still a hero? Or maybe they rejected direct orders telling them to do something horrific, and were court-marshaled and subjected to public humiliation and obscurity. Does that then make them a hero?
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapy birthday! one day late, whatever. Did you hear about Symphony of the Goddesses?
